A great example of dam lining using Cipatex 0.75mm PVC geomembrane.

Underlaid with a cushioning layer of DUX non-woven geotextile, the liner was laid in two strips and joined using 2-sided butyl-mastic tape. No welding was required. The large roll width of 10.8m maximises coverage and minimises on-site seaming. The liner is delivered to site in a compact package only 2m wide and manually unfolded to size.

Cipatex PVC geomembrane has the advantage of being able to be seamed using either heatwelding, glueing or using butyl-mastic tape.

The liner was keyed in with an anchor trench along the crest of the dam.
