DUX Silt Sausage
As part of our increased concern for the environment, roadside pollution entering waterways has been identified as a significant problem. Silt SausageTM reduces water-borne sediment entering roadway side-entry pits. Silt SausageTM slows down water flow and helps trap silt, leaf matter, litter and other pollutants.
Silt SausageTM are especially effective as a temporary treatment during construction activity alongside roadways. Made from top quality, UV stabilised DUX 43c , 260gsm non-woven geotextile these tough Silt SausageTM are reusable many times over, unlike other solutions including hay bales which are expensive and messy or sand bags which quickly deteriorate.
Silt SausageTM is easy to use – simply fill on-site with gravel, tie off the sausage and place in position to intercept water flow.
