Tree Root Protection

Southern Geosynthetics, working with ANLC developed a value engineering proposition to use Rainsmart Ellipse modules as structural support for the tree root zones surrounding new tree plantings at building works as Monash Uni. Modules with open internal panels were chosen to allow free growth of tree roots. The modules were built as interconnected double height modules and filled progressively with sandy loam. On completion the modules provided strong support for installation of pavers, as seen in the attached pictures.
