DUX 30c stabilises base and ensures long design life
DUX 30c is a popular choice for horse arenas. DUX 30c is a 180gsm PP non-woven and provides an effective separation and stabilisation layer to allow placement of the aggregate pavement. A range of different materials may be used for the pavement including aggregate, coarse river sand and even wood fibre.
At this project in Croydon a 150mm layer of 20mm minus aggregate was placed and compacted, followed by a final topping of river sand. DUX 30c prevents the expensive pavement from mixing with the soft underlying clay subgrade, ensuring the long life of the arena.
