Ellipse Quad Modules used in Stormwater Detention Tank
Way down in the hole!
Blue Ribbon Plumbing are experts in constructing Ellipse modular stormwater detention tanks, but this project at 107 Barkly St, Mornington was a real challenge. Heavy Duty (5 plate) Ellipse Quad modules were adopted to fill up the 4m deep hole and reduce soil overburden pressure to an acceptable level. The tanks were wrapped in Cipatex PVC geomembrane and DUX non-woven cushioning geotextile. Two tanks 80 and 51cm were constructed. Blue Ribbon choose the Ellipse system as a cost saving alternative to the original concrete vault design. #rainsmart #ellipse#stormwater#blueribbonplumbing#cipatex#
