DUX CG30 strengthens King St
Reconstruction of King St in Lower Templestowe, Manningham City, had struck difficulties. The sandy-clay subgrade was softer than anticipated and Contractor Ethridge Mintern had placed 200mm of cement-treated crushed rock and found there was still unacceptable movement. DUX CG30 combined geogrid/geotextile was adopted to provide additional strength and allowed construction to proceed. A 200mm deep-lift asphalt layer completed the pavement.
