DUX high-strength polyester geogrid used to support 12m high wall
A massive 12m high dump wall is currently under construction at Matthews Quarries Tyers site. High-strength DUX polyester geogrid is being installed in 500mm lifts to take the extreme lateral pressure off the concrete facing panels. DUX grid was supplied in a range of strengths up to 150kN/m. The simple, low-cost geogrid “wraparound” design ensured rapid construction. Southern Geosynthetics provided valuable design support for this demanding structure.
