Located at Bannockburn, Nick’s “ByFarr” winery is one of the premium wine producers in the Geelong region. In 2018 Nick Farr needed additional storage space for wine barrels so built a large underground vault adjacent to the winery.
After waterproofing the concrete structure Nick installed ABG’s “Deckdrain 700s” on all vertical and horizontal surfaces. Deckdrain replaces traditional aggregate drainage and is quick and easy to install. After backfilling with local soils, and two years on the structure is hidden from view and blends into the rolling hills of Bannockburn. As we say at SGS “All our best work is hidden”!
