Ellipse Modular Tanks for stormwater management
A Section 173 Agreement is a contract between a Council and a landowner that places restrictions on how the land may be developed, including stormwater management. For land subdivisional developments Onsite Stormwater Detention (OSD) may be required to be installed by the builders on each house lot; but this is difficult to enforce and is often omitted during building works. For this reason a number of eastern suburbs councils are now requiring OSD to be installed at the time of initial land subdivision. The Rainsmart Ellipse modular tank system is ideal for this application, allowing flexibility of layout and storage volume. The Ellipse system is strong, trafficable, quick and easy to assemble and install and at under $200/cm provides cost savings over competitor systems. At this project at English St, Seville, an Ellipse Double Module OSD tank was installed on each of seven lots, varying from 11kL to 23kL. #OSD#Ellipse#stormwater#
