Terravault 2 encourages tree root growth
Terravault 2 (TV2) is currently being installed throughout the Wangaratta Rail Trail project by contractor Excell Gray-Bruni. The TV2 triple modules are filled with organic soil and the open structure allows free growth of the tree roots, without damaging the surrounding paved areas. TV2 modules are super strong, with a crush strength greater than 65 tonne/sqm, allowing installation in areas subject to heavy vehicle traffic.
The triple modules were pre-assembled in the works depot for easy transport to site, speeding up installation.
The strong, open structure allows free spread of tree roots.
