Roadgrid Reduces Road Cracking

Self-adhesive Roadgrid makes installation easy

Melbourne councils often specify a 500mm wide self-adhesive geotextile-backed bitumen strip treatment along new kerb & channel work. The strip helps to prevent reflective cracking along the construction joint through the new asphalt surface. At this project at Sussex Rd in Caulfield South, contractor Fercon choose “Roadgrid” to provide a high-strength reinforcing effect and waterproofing function. Roadgrid comprises a 50x50kN/m polyester reinforcing geogrid, ultralight non-woven geotextile and a self-adhesive bitumen coating. hashtag#asphalt#roadgrid#reflectivecracking#fercon#
